With over 20 years’ experience and assets under management in excess of $2Tn, Waystone provides its clients with the guidance and tools to manage their investment goals with confidence.OverviewThe Senior Associate – Onboarding will be an integral part of the Waystone team, proactively managing and supporting clients and funds from a commercial and governance perspective as well as representing Waystone at external events.ResponsibilitiesLaunch and management of client relationships and ongoing governance of funds, interacting with internal Conducting Officers/Designated Persons and supporting teams, and acting as lead contact with Fund Boards, Investment Managers and service providers (Fund Administrator, Depositary, Auditors and Legal Advisors).Identify and manage relationships to ensure operational efficiency and financial profitability; coordinate ongoing deliverables, ad hoc matters and project-related items with internal teams, designated persons and extended parties.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and updates (AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID) and implement processes to comply with changing regulation.Attend training sessions on relevant topics when available and ensure teams are aligned with evolving regulatory environments.Communicate relationship and governance items to Conducting Officers/Designated Persons and internal management; work towards resolutions and log for training purposes to avoid duplication of issues.Manage operational and relationship responsibilities for a group of current clients in line with fund documentation (prospectus, legal agreements) and Waystone procedures, with support from Conducting Officers/Designated Persons, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal and Operational Risk to ensure client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.Identify procedures that need to be implemented or changed; lead the change, provide training, and ensure ongoing adherence to new procedures.Coordinate internal teams to promote prompt and thorough responses to client requests.RequirementsStrong academic background with a degree in Finance/Business/Economics or related field.Minimum 3 years’ experience in an investment funds environment.Knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS or MiFID.Client-facing background with presentation skills.Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Salesforce experience is a bonus but not essential.DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: OtherLocation: Cashel, County Galway, Ireland.
