About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Senior Internal Audit Manager to join our clients Internal Audit function. In this role, you will support the Head of Internal Audit in delivering an effective audit strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. You will lead and execute complex audit assignments, provide insightful recommendations, and contribute to strong risk management and governance practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, lead, and execute risk-based internal audits aligned with the annual audit plan.
* Work closely with the Head of Internal Audit to enhance audit methodologies and reporting.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend value-adding improvements.
* Build strong working relationships across all departments and business units to promote a culture of accountability and risk awareness.
* Prepare high-quality reports with clear findings and practical recommendations for senior stakeholders and Audit Committee review.
* Mentor, develop, and motivate junior members of the audit team, providing on-the-job coaching and performance feedback.
* Monitor the implementation of remediation actions and follow up on audit findings.
* Support ad-hoc projects, advisory reviews, and emerging risk assessments within the business.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5–7 years of internal audit or assurance experience, ideally within the financial services/fintech industry.
* Big 4 or top-tier professional services experience is highly desirable.
* Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of risk management, governance, controls, and regulatory expectations in the insurance environment.
