Overview As a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role within the Primary Care multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, child-centred assessment and intervention services for children aged 9 years and older. You will manage a complex paediatric caseload and provide clinical guidance and support to junior staff, while contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of the service. Summary: HSE-aligned salary at Senior level with increments Comprehensive induction and onboarding Access to HSE training and leadership development programmes Regular clinical supervision and management support Opportunity to provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff Very supportive, thriving multidisciplinary team environment Opportunity to contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives Key Responsibilities Manage a complex paediatric caseload, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based therapy plans Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to junior Occupational Therapists and students Deliver therapy across clinic, school, home, and group settings Support children with Autism, DCD, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including SLTs, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and PHNs Liaise with families, schools, and community professionals to ensure holistic care Contribute to service planning, audits, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate documentation in line with HSE and CORU standards Engage in ongoing CPD, reflective practice, and professional leadership Candidate Requirements Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy CORU Registration (Essential) Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, with paediatric experience essential Experience managing complex caseloads and working within multidisciplinary teams Experience providing supervision or mentorship desirable Strong knowledge of paediatric conditions including Autism, DCD, ADHD, and developmental delays Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a senior role Flexibility to travel within the Dun Laoghaire/Shankill area as required How to apply: For more information about this opportunity, please reach out confidentially to Charlene Cooke by email or telephone.
