Key Role: Quality Assurance and Retail Associate
This full-time, permanent position ensures the delivery of high-quality feed products to customers while supporting daily retail operations and maintaining product standards for safety, consistency, and compliance.
* Inspect incoming and outgoing animal feed products for contamination, damage, labeling errors, or expiration issues to maintain a safe and reliable supply chain.
* Sample feed for testing and maintain quality records in accordance with industry regulations across three mills (e.g., DAFM, UFAS).
* Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, including inspections and support traceability efforts by logging batch numbers, lot codes, and supplier information.
* Monitor quality/feed safety across the branch network and report relevant information to management.
* Greet and assist customers with product selection, nutritional information, and usage guidance for livestock.
* Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems.
* Evaluate and restock shelves to ensure they are properly stocked, labelled, and rotated.
* Manage phone and online orders efficiently.
