My client are looking for a Group Accountant to support the Group Financial Director and finance team in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful management information to drive strategic decision-making.
Duties：
* Consolidate group accounts across Ireland and the US, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations.
* Oversee monthly reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows).
* Prepare statutory and regulatory reports; manage annual report process.
* Analyse financial data to assess group performance.
* Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls.
* Manage intercompany loans, interest calculations, and group-level accounting (e.g. investments, FX, provisions).
* Coordinate reporting deadlines and equity/funding reconciliations.
* Support ESG reporting and AIQ platform enhancements.
* Liaise with auditors and senior stakeholders.
* Assist with finance transformation projects and ad-hoc initiatives.
Skills：
* 3-5 years' experience in financial accounting and analysis.
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Strong technical accounting and consolidation skills.
* Leadership and report writing capabilities.
* Experience in energy, renewables, or construction is a plus.
* Strong and advanced Excel skills
