Technical Leadership Role - Principal Engineer
About the Role:
This is a key leadership position within our engineering team, focused on developing and implementing best practices across multiple competencies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing and maintaining high levels of employee engagement through effective support structures and regular feedback
* Leading the development of technical solutions to complex problems, requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation of variable factors
* Maintaining open lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders, including divisional/corporate leaders, academic partners, and suppliers
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving Engineering Excellence across multiple competencies, including automated manufacturing, robotics, thermal coatings, automated inspection, and process improvement
* Developing system-level design strategy and leading design, development, testing, and refinement of systems, subsystems, and components
The successful candidate will have:
* A BS in Engineering Level 8 Degree or equivalent
* Minimum of 10 years+ manufacturing experience
* Excellent communication and influencing skills with both internal and external agents
* Technical leadership of Staff engineers, Senior engineers, Engineers, Coop Students, Technicians, and operators as required
