We currently have a vacancy for an experienced
Cleaning Manager
to manage our cleaning team in the day to day delivery of industrial cleaning services across our 3 Sligo businesses The Bakery, Commercial Kitchen & Dock 84 restaurant.
Only applicants with
23 years' experience
in a cleaning supervisory or management role will be considered.
As the Cleaning Manager, you'll play a key role in upholding our commitment to producing a high standard product and providing a welcoming and sanitary environment for our staff. As well as leading the existing cleaning team, you will also have your own cleaning tasks to complete.
Due to the nature of the business, the shift pattern will typically be Tuesday to Saturday. There will be flexibility in working hours, but typically shift patterns may look like 3pm 11.30pm, weekdays and 10/11am start the weekend until 9.30/6pm at the weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
This is very much a hands on role where you'll be leading and supporting the team ensuring all tasks are completed to the high standards while also having your own cleaning duties to undertake
Regularly inspecting all areas of the bakery, including production areas, dining areas, restrooms, and storage spaces, to ensure cleanliness and compliance with HACCP requirements and health and safety regulations
Monitoring and managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are always maintained. Coordinate with the Bakery Manager to order supplies as needed
Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, HACCP requirements and all health and safety regulations. Train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Escalate incidents or areas of concern to the H&S Manager
Complying with the Company accident reporting procedure and assist promptly and accurately in the completion of Incident Reports. Report any issues to H&S Manager
How will you stand out from the crowd?
Experience of working in an FMCG of a small to medium business or restaurant/hotel
Leading a cleaning team with at least 2 years experience
Up to date knowledge of HACCP
