We are currently looking to recruit a Technical (Construction) Sales Person for our client based in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15.
The package for this role is 50K+ and many benefits such as a bonus, company vehicle and career progression.

Duties and Responsibilities will include;
Specifying, promoting, presenting, and selling a portfolio of products/services to existing and prospective customers to agreed targets.
Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
Calling on Contractors & following through to close quotations and sales opportunities.
Calling on Architects in conjunction to seek opportunities to specify company products.
Participate in weekly and monthly sales & planning meetings and track progress on sales opportunities
Minimum 3 years of successful sales & site experience within the Construction Industry
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
An understanding of the full life cycle of Construction Sector projects.
Highly motivated and target driven.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work to tight deadlines
A proven capacity to learn new industry products.
Ability to work to agreed business plans
Strong PC Skills, including excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Daily duties will involve;
Assessing customer requirements, through pro-active interaction and based on experience and product knowledge, and the reviewing of relevant technical information including technical drawings to determine the appropriate specification of materials & systems.
Responding professionally and in appropriate detail to requests for quotations, including tender documents.
Following up on enquiries received from Internal Sales and preparing proposals for customers to meet these enquiries.
Logging enquiries on the sales system, CRM in our case.
Proactively following up on enquiries with customers, and in doing so, keeping the sales enquiry database up to date.
Visiting customers occasionally and as required, initially for training purposes and also for project meetings and general sales calls.
