The International Centre for Future Health Systems
The International Centre for Future Health Systems (“ICFHS”) is a research, policy and advocacy centre established at the University of New South Wales that seeks to improve health systems to deliver more equitable, sustainable, and person-centred health care for all people. Operating on a partnership model, ICFHS collaborates closely with health services, government agencies, industry, primary health networks, professional bodies, community and consumer organisations, and global health partners, including colleagues at the University of Oxford.
Why this role matters
Transforming hospital care to support the adoption of innovations in health systems reform, while improving the integration of health services, equity, and the person-centred focus of care, is a core theme for the ICFHS. This new position will play a leadership role in the development and implementation of improved models of hospital care, particularly for populations that are under-served, as well as integrating with research, policy and advocacy work across all the ICFHS themes. The position reports to the ICFHS Director and will involve postgraduate researcher supervision.
