Store Manager – Wexford
Excel Recruitment is excited to recruit a results-driven and dynamic Store Manager to lead our client's busy grocery retail store in Co. Wexford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager with a passion for retail excellence, strong leadership capabilities, and the ambition to drive both team performance and sales growth.
Salary: €55k – €60k
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, including convenience store management, and customer service
2. Leading and motivating a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
3. Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
4. Managing inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, conducting regular stock takes
5. Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and increase profitability
6. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the store, including the forecourt area, convenience store, and restrooms
7. Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
8. Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliers
Requirements:
9. Previous experience in a supermarket background at store manager or assistant manager level
10. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales techniques
13. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
