We believe that this acquisition further strengthens Storm's service portfolio for both new and existing clients in Ireland, particularly within the managed IT services and cyber security space, and facilitates future growth, enabling the delivery of its Microsoft business solutions to the UK market. In turn, this will see both companies extend their capabilities across larger scale projects and to a wider breadth of clients. Together, Storm Technology and Littlefish will continue to deliver industry leading services to existing customers across the areas of managed IT services, cloud services, and strategic consultancy. Role Purpose
Storm is seeking a Strategic Growth Lead in the Microsoft Services space on a permanent basis. The role will be based in Ireland and report directly into the Chief Commercial Officer of Storm Technology (Ireland). As the Strategic Growth Lead, you will be responsible for securing and developing new logo sales in Ireland whilst also partnering with our existing client base to expand our reach within existing accounts.
You will also be expected to understand the client's business needs, challenges, and objectives to position Microsoft Services across the Microsoft stack of applications and solutions effectively. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers to enable you to consult with clients on Microsoft Platform features, including Dynamics, Cloud Services (Azure), productivity software (Microsoft 365), and enterprise applications.
You will be educating clients on new Microsoft solutions, updates and innovations within the Microsoft ecosystem in a consultative manner, whilst working closely with internal teams, including Pre-Sales and Sales Operations, Practice Directors and teams, Marketing and Customer Support to ensure alignment in delivering solutions and addressing customer needs.
Performance Priorities Key Areas of Focus
* Lead the acquisition of new business opportunities across Ireland, focusing on Microsoft Services. (60% New Logo/40% Cross Selling within existing accounts)
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Understand client business needs and tailor solutions that align with their strategic goals.
* Generating technology roadmaps with clients underpinned by Microsoft
* Generating proposals encapsulating business requirements with a corresponding solution and cost
* Stay up to date with Microsoft innovations and educate clients on new features and updates.
* Collaborate with internal teams including Pre-Sales, Sales Operations, Practice Directors, Marketing, and Customer Support to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
* Continue to position Storm as a leader in the Microsoft technology consulting space through active networking, industry event engagement as required.
* Tap into existing relationships within and outside Storm to identify new business opportunities, potential collaborations and areas for growth
Required Skills And Experience
* Deep understanding and experience delivering or selling of Microsoft suite of tools and solutions, thorough and up-to-date knowledge and sectoral experience. Broad technology industry understanding and commitment to on-going learning and keeping up to speed
* Exceptional customer relationship development and influencing skills at a senior level, establishes credibility in any setting, Skilled at influencing and negotiating with C-level executives and decision-makers.
* Proven track record of exceeding OTE in a Sales role. Business development mindset and natural interest and drive for sales.
* Demonstrated success in managing large enterprise, strategic accounts.
* Ability to analyse business challenges and leverage develop tailored solution, ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients.
* Strong expertise in sales techniques, including cold calling, lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
* Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and performance metrics to drive account strategy.
* Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across functional teams to deliver client-centric solutions.
