About the Role As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and execution of the business development strategy, aligned with the wider organisational goals.
Your focus will be on driving sustainable growth through new business opportunities, enhanced member engagement, and data-driven sales initiatives.
BD Manager Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and delivery of the organisations sales strategy Drive income generation in line with strategic and financial growth targets Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, lending, finance, and compliance teams Use market intelligence and data analysis to identify growth opportunities Champion innovative membership campaigns especially focused on youth and community outreach Build and nurture partnerships with external stakeholders and community groups Promote a sales-focused culture and ensure teams are equipped to deliver on goals Oversee PR, marketing campaigns, and external communications Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes Deliver reports, insights and performance metrics to the CEO and Board Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal governance policies Business Development Manager requirements: Proven success in a business development or senior marketing role within financial services.
A qualification in a business, finance orrelated field(QFA is advantageous).
Experience turning insights into action and delivering real results.
Confidence in working independently and influencing others across an organisation.
Strong communication, data analysis, and presentation skills Desirable: Familiarity with regulatory compliance and governance in financial services
