Role: Van Driver/Warehouse Operative Salary: €30,000 - €33,000 Duration: Full-time Location: Dublin 15 Hours: Monday-Friday: 09:00-17:00 Van Driver/ Warehouse Operative Established distributor based in North Dublin is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
This dual-role opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, combining warehouse responsibilities with on-the-road deliveries.
You must hold a valid B driving licence, along with reach truck and counterbalance forklift certificates.
As part of a small but skilled warehouse team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing goods-in processes, picking orders for daily trade, and operating both reach truck and counterbalance forklifts to support warehouse operations.
In addition to your on-site duties, you will also be required to deliver products to various stores and customers throughout the Dublin region.
Whether working in the warehouse or out on the road, you will be expected to represent the company professionally at all times, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered to customers.
Responsibilities: Transport goods between designated locations, including stores and customer sites, while delivering a consistently professional level of service.
Complete all required documentation to accurately record stock movements between branches and during deliveries.
Use the reach truck to accurately pick items for on-site customer orders.
Support the goods-in department by unloading deliveries and reporting any stock discrepancies or damages.
Conduct cycle counts and stock takes as part of inventory control procedures.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with company standards.
Adhere to all road safety and company regulations while representing the business at all times.
Requirements: Counterbalance forklift essential.
Reach truck license required.
Manual handling certificate.
Full EU B license.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience working in warehouse or stores environment.
Computer literate a distinct advantage.
