We are seeking an
Health and Safety Regional Manager
for a hyperscale data centre project in Amsterdam.
The client is a leading, trusted data centre delivery partner in Europe, currently managing multiple projects across seven countries with over 430 MW of IT load.
This full-time, permanent role involves working on a rotational shift basis in Amsterdam.
All travel and accommodation expenses are covered, and candidates must hold a valid EU/UK passport, as no visa sponsorship is available.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance with Safety Management Systems and relevant legislation.
Developing task-specific method statements, risk assessments, and permits to work.
Conducting site audits and inspections, with follow-up on corrective actions.
Maintaining records of statutory inspections and safety documentation.
Ensuring subcontractor adherence to EHS policies.
Managing safety inductions, training, and PPE resources.
Investigating incidents and preparing reports.
Overseeing welfare facilities and maintaining safety documentation.
Requirements include:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within construction, preferably in data centres or large-scale projects.
Thorough knowledge of environmental, health, and safety legislation.
Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field.
Strong communication, computer, and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal skills.
