Job description
Our client is looking to hire an experienced Practice Manager to lead a busy GP practice in Dublin.
The role will ideally suit qualified nurses who have experience working in GP Practices and Surgeries and those who are up to date on their training in relation to cervical check screening and primary childhood vaccinations.
Key Duties:
1. Run the day-to-day work of the practice.
2. Organise staff schedules, hiring, training, and performance.
3. Make sure patients are seen smoothly and receive good care.
4. Look after finances, including budgets, payroll, and suppliers.
5. Manage appointments, recalls, repeat prescriptions, and clinical processes.
6. Improve how the practice works to save time and improve patient experience.
7. Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, admin staff, and outside organisations.
Essential Criteria:
8. Only candidates with proven experience in a GP practice/primary care setting will be considered.
9. Proven experience in a supervisory role or in a senior administration role.
10. Diploma or degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field.
11. Experience with the Socrates IT System would be desirable
