Job Description
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants who will assist healthcare professionals under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, to carry out a spectrum of duties. Their tasks include assisting patients with personal care and conducting clinical duties, in addition to carrying out, monitoring, and recording the results of medical tests, which the healthcare professionals will analyse. Healthcare assistants will be working under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals and providers first‑hand care, comfort and safety to patients. The candidate must be kind, compassionate, patient and a good communicator. A quick learner with the ability to work as part of a team. Commitment to provide quality services to residents.
Qualifications
* QQI Level 5 Health Care Assistant Qualified or equivalent, or working towards the same, or have a degree in one of the following: Degree in Nursing, Degree in Physiotherapy, Degree in Social Work.
* 6 months experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role involving direct patient / resident care.
Compensation & Location
Annual salary starting at €32,691.00. Weekly basic hours: 39. Location: Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Residence, Roebuck Road, Dublin 14.
