Csa Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Csa Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in managing contracts and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
* Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying or construction economics, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines. They will also have a solid understanding of financial and budgetary control, as well as exceptional time management and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the measurement of work to maximise the value of applications to clients
* Review programmes in respect of delays, disruption, damage and subcontract programmes
* Administer applications for payment up and down stream, ensuring fair valuations and positive cashflow
* Responsible for the commercial management of contracts and cost reporting
* Present final accounts and additional cost applications
* Compile and produce subcontract documents
* General contract administration in line with contract obligations and notices of change
* Assess subcontractors' applications for payment
* Assist with monthly valuations and preparation of variations
* Maintain variation logs for client and subcontractor variations
* Compile tender documents and procurement strategy
* Assist the estimation team with estimate preparations
