We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in County Cavan.
About the Role
* Lead and mentor a skilled maintenance team with a focus on electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Oversee both preventive and reactive maintenance across production equipment, prioritizing reliability and minimizing downtime.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to ensure seamless operations and maintain high standards of quality.
* Contribute electrical expertise to capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate and manage external electrical contractors, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
* Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and inspections, providing valuable insights for future decision-making.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost equipment reliability, productivity, and overall operational excellence.
Requirements
* Fully qualified electrician with up-to-date certifications, possessing a strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and safety protocols.
* Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments, with experience in leading teams and managing projects.
* Solid understanding of electrical systems, including circuit analysis, motor control, and electrical distribution.
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is highly desirable, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
