We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Barista to join our team at the Retail Shop at Galway University Hospital.The successful candidate will have great customer service skills and play a vital role in supporting the front-line operations.It's preferable if the candidate is available 5/7 days.€13.63 per hour, increased rate for Sundays, and Bank Holiday PayWhilst previous experience is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.Uniform/shoes provided and staff meals provided during shifts.Advancement opportunities available for employees who would like to build a career with usResponsibilitiesIdeal candidate will have previous barista & customer service experience.Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, and in particular, adhere to our HACCP systemsTill dutiesEnsure food preparation and service is in line with HACCP/Food Hygiene proceduresMaintain a clean and safe working environment, deep clean dutiesHave the ability to work on your own initiativeProvide excellent customer serviceEnsure Stock rotation on a first in first out basisEnsure the shop floor is maintained in a clean and tidy fashion at all timesComplete other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.RequirementsHave high personal standards, with attention to detailA team player with great customer service skills is a must.Strong interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP is desirable.Keen interest in developing food preparation skills and culinary knowledgeFlexibility and ability to work on own initiativeBarista experience.
