Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the full accounts function within our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including payroll processing, and supervising the Accounts Administration Assistant.
Proficiency in Bright Books software, is beneficial but not essential, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire accounts function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Maintain and manage financial records using Bright Books software.
Process payroll efficiently and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with employment and tax regulations.
Supervise and support the Accounts Administration Assistant, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts as required.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable and manage cash flow effectively.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Assist in improving internal financial processes and systems.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in an Accounts Manager or similar financial role.
Proficiency in Accounting software is essential.
Bright Books Accounts package would be beneficial, full training will be given.
Strong payroll experience and understanding of payroll legislation and reporting requirements.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and supervisory skills.
Qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience in an accounting environment is preferred.
