The partnership manager role is a pivotal position within our research centre, responsible for leading and coordinating the development and implementation of a comprehensive funding strategy. This involves diversifying income through non-exchequer sources, including EU programmes such as Horizon Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Funding Management: Implement the centre's strategy for securing external funding, including entrepreneurship, and evaluate the centre's performance.
* IP Management & Technology Transfer: Liaise with Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) in partner organisations to develop industry collaboration and commercialisation activities.
* Vista Milk Operations Support: Define, monitor, collect, and report key performance indicators to the management team, governance boards, and funding bodies as required.
Requirements:
A degree in science, engineering, ICT or a related discipline, experience in a research support role, project management, PMP or Six Sigma qualification, strong leadership skills, excellent IT skills, negotiation skills, and previous experience in Agri-Food and Agri-Tech sectors at national and international level are essential qualifications.
The ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively, demonstrate a proactive approach to work, and commit to teamwork and collaborating with colleagues are also critical behavioural competencies.
