Echelon Data Centres was established in 2017 by the main principal of Aldgate Developments, a leading commercial property developer and owner of major commercial office buildings in Central London and Dublin. Since then, the Echelon Group has expanded to ownership of six sites across Ireland and the United Kingdom, with further interests in Europe, and has secured >€1bn of funding to develop sites, giving the Group an enterprise value of c€2.5bn. The Group's second campus will go live imminently.
