This role follows a
hybrid working model
based in our
Kilkenny office.
Key Responsibilities
* Your main responsibility is to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the department are running smoothly.
* Should be effectively able to manage a team of 7 -10 members.
* The ability to coach, mentor, or guide the team is required.
* Ensure that all daily production requirements are completed ensuring the SLAs are met.
* Support managers and LT with automation and transformation projects supported by business.
* To Maintain the required level of accuracy at all times.
* Should be able to demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/guide the team.
* Communicate potential service issue or business issue to LT and draft/propose correction and mitigation plan
* You are expected to demonstrate how you foster relationships with internal stakeholders by establishing and maintaining exceptional business relationships and working collaboratively
* Problem solving, time management and priority setting skills
* Expected to demonstrate UKG core values
* Generate operational metrics to communicate and manage the performance of the production team.
* Must have the ability to manage difficult customer communications and the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
* Engage in hiring along with the manager.
* Implement quality control measures effectively.
* To assist and encourage team members to submit process innovation ideas as per the assigned goals.
Qualifications
* Excellent understanding of end-to-end Irish payroll processes.
* Overall, 5 – 8 years of work experience of which last 3 years in Ireland Payroll /HCM.
* Experience of leading a direct team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks under stringent timelines.
* Highly motivated and team oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of Irish payroll softwares.
* Industry level payroll certification. IPASS Payroll certificate
* Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience will be considered.
