About the Job:
This role involves leading a team to ensure projects are completed within budget and timeframe. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising sites, ensuring compliance with company and legislative regulations, programming work to maximize resource efficiency, and coordinating with design teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
* Complete pre-construction condition surveys on projects prior to works commencing
* Supervise sites and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
* Programme and schedule work to maximise resource efficiency and meet key project deadlines
* Liaise with design teams, utility providers, councils, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure work is carried out according to approved standards
* Roster staff on sites as necessary and engage with the quantity surveyor to identify cost-effective processes
* Monitor site inductions, communicate method statements and safe systems of work, and ensure all employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors follow safety protocols
* Order materials, design and implement traffic management plans, and monitor subcontractor work performance and quality
* Compile project files, reports, and information, and deliver projects within time, scope, and quality

Requirements:
* Proficient in administration and computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Windows, engineering applications, and Outlook
* Strong awareness of health & safety, environmental regulations, and traffic management
* In-depth knowledge of civil engineering, site plant, and equipment
* Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Extensive site experience, effective liaison with client design teams and subcontractors, and experience attending meetings
* Civil Engineering Degree an advantage
