Key Role Summary
We are seeking a Planner to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. This role will be based outside of Waterford City and will involve working full-time in the Planner position.
* Develop key product production plans to support manufacturing operations.
* Update monthly production volumes in enterprise resource planning systems and maintain forecasts in vendor-managed inventory.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels for critical stock-keeping units.
* Prioritize production schedules and issue operational reports as required.
* Provide available-to-promise dates to markets and distribution centers.
* Support new product setup, master data changes, and forecasting activities.
* Collaborate with purchasing, new product introduction, and operations teams to ensure accurate master production schedule and supply master data.
* Maintain current good manufacturing practice compliance and contribute to departmental reporting and tier management.
* A degree in planning or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
* Ideally, 2-3+ years of planning experience.
* IIPMM / AIPICs qualified is an advantage.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Advanced knowledge and comfort using Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of ERPLx or similar ERP systems is desirable.
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to work independently.
