Why you'll enjoy this new opportunity Join Deloitte's largest and fastest growing Private Clients Tax team in Ireland, a multidisciplinary group dedicated to advising private companies, their owners and high net worth individuals on complex commercial and tax matters. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of tax planning strategies including asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession, estate planning, and buy/sell side advisory. You will be part of a collaborative, globally connected team, contributing to impactful client solutions while developing your leadership and technical expertise. This position is ideal for a motivated tax professional eager to take on responsibility, influence client outcomes and grow within a leading professional services firm. Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position AITI qualified tax professional with relevant post-qualification experience (PQE), supported by ACA/CTA or equivalent qualifications. Strong technical knowledge in advising on asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder matters, succession and estate planning. Experience working within a private client tax team, with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts for non-specialist audiences. Excellent client-facing skills, relationship building and business development capabilities. Success in the Role Deliver clear, technically sound tax advice and planning strategies tailored to private clients' needs. Support senior management in preparing detailed technical tax advice and conducting thorough research on tax legislation and case law. Manage client engagements effectively, including billing and fee collection processes. Delegate, manage and review work of trainees and junior staff, contributing to their development and team performance. What type of work will I be doing? Advising clients on tax planning strategies related to asset holding, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession, estate planning and buy/sell side advisory Preparing detailed technical tax advice and conducting research on relevant tax legislation and case law Managing client relationships, billing and fee collection for allocated clients Delegating, managing and reviewing trainee and junior team members' work Delivering in-house tax training and assisting with client presentations as required Who is the Hiring Manager?
