A Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced General Foremanfor a major building project in Limerick. This is a key site-based leadership role responsible for day-to-day operations, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily and weekly site programmes and ensure clear communication of plans to subcontractors. Participate in weekly meetings with the clients construction team and internal management. Maintain a detailed site diary, tracking labour levels and daily site activities. Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the site, driving outputs while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Help deliver the project in line with agreed production targets and schedule. Coordinate, manage, and motivate subcontractors and direct labour on-site. Provide leadership and support to site teams, maintaining a professional and solution-oriented approach. Assist in the control and efficient use of site equipment and materials. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Foreperson or Site Supervisor role within construction. Strong understanding of site-based operations and the construction process. Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines. Fluent English and legal eligibility to work in Ireland. Proven track record of coordinating subcontractors and managing a site team.
