Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. The role involves assisting in the delivery of training or the upskilling of service users in preparation for work or a return to education. This will include working across all Cork Simon Community’s projects and services, creating opportunities for people to build self‑confidence, social networks and facilitating interaction with the wider community.
Duties
Duties include: working with service users to identify gaps in training/education as well as employment opportunities, identifying and scheduling employment and training programmes and general administrative duties. We can provide you with accredited training and development opportunities to help you progress into more regular employment.
