Warehouse Manager Overview The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of a busy warehouse facility, ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain. This role involves leading warehouse personnel, maintaining accurate stock control, and ensuring all inbound and outbound products are processed efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will also ensure compliance with health & safety procedures while safeguarding company premises and inventory. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including goods receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, cable cutting, and housekeeping duties. Lead and support warehouse staff to ensure operational targets and service standards are achieved. Monitor inventory levels through regular stock counts and maintain accurate stock control procedures. Ensure all inventory is properly labelled, barcoded, and stored in designated locations. Work closely with purchasing teams and branch management to support inter-branch stock requirements. Liaise with sales and transport departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Maintain regular communication with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager regarding warehouse performance and operational issues. Ensure warehouse operations comply with company health & safety policies and procedures. Carry out additional duties as required to support business operations. Experience Required At least 5 years experience in a fast-paced warehouse management environment. Proven ability to manage teams and oversee high-volume warehouse operations. Experience with inventory management and stock control systems. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively. Good organisational and problem-solving abilities. Full clean driving licence required.
