Who We Are: Cpl is partnering up with SiriusXM and its brands (Pandora, SXM Media, AdsWizz, Simplecast, and SiriusXM Connected Vehicle Services) delivering audio entertainment and services for listeners with connected devices. SiriusXM is the leading audio entertainment company in North America, with platforms reaching approximately 150 million listeners. Pandora is the largest ad-supported audio entertainment streaming service in the U.S. SiriusXM’s subsidiaries Simplecast and AdsWizz lead in podcast hosting, production, distribution, analytics and monetization. SiriusXM also offers connected vehicle services to automakers and operates SXM Media for advertising sales. We are launching a new technology facility in Dublin, Ireland focused on software development, automotive technology, AdTech, data science and analytics.
The Dublin facility will develop and implement high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle platforms. SiriusXM offers competitive benefits, including a monthly day off on the first Friday of every month.
Position: This is a Software Engineer III role within our Client Software Engineering organization. You will work on iOS based client software for our SiriusXM and Pandora products, collaborating with a world-class team to improve the Pandora and SiriusXM experiences for millions of customers.
What you’ll do
* Develop innovative enhancements and new features for our Pandora and SiriusXM applications
* Facilitate troubleshooting of pre- and post-production issues
* Participate in code reviews as part of a larger team
* Understand the overall software stack and continuously seek improvements
* Contribute to the team’s software development standards, code reviews, and documentation for the platforms you work on
* Participate in the Agile development process for client development
* Stay aware of industry evolution and new technologies related to client applications or web frameworks
What you’ll need
* Strong interest in collaborating via code reviews and technical discussions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Growth mindset and ability to learn quickly
* 4+ years of experience developing Client Software for iOS-based platforms
* Experience with native iOS apps using Xcode and Instruments
* Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Combine and other Apple frameworks
* Nice to have experience with AVFoundation and StoreKit
* Experience with MVVM and other modern design patterns
* Experience with CI/CD environments like GitHub Actions and Fastlane
* Nice to have interest in modern iOS tools like SwiftLint, SwiftFormat, SwiftGen, or Nuke
