 
        
        Treasurer is key role on the Board of Trustees helping the board with strategy, direction, fiscal soundness and delivery. A key duty of the treasurer, along with the board is responsibility for the prudential management of the Institute and the Treasurer carries out this role by having oversight of & monitoring the financial activity of the organisation and reporting on it to the Board at regular intervals, in line with best practice and in compliance with the constitution of the organisation and the legal requirements which the Institute is required to follow.
Key Roles & Duties
 1. Overseeing the management, budgeting and reporting of the financial affairs of the Institute (as per the Institute’s constitution).
 2. Overseeing the implementation of and monitoring the financial control framework of the Institute and adherence to its systems;
 3. Liaising with key external stakeholders (Auditors, Revenue Commissioners, Institute's Bankers).
 4. Attending certain key Committees, namely; Chair of The Finance and Governance Committee (ex officio), Community Employment Scheme Committee (ex officio), Chair of the Grants Sub-Committee
