Job Title: Critical Infrastructure Commissioning Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Infrastructure Commissioning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in commissioning complex systems, including HVAC, chilled water, and electrical power systems.
About the Role
* The role involves working with vendors, contractors, and other teams to ensure that construction and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with design intent and industry standards.
* You will be responsible for developing and executing test procedures, reviewing component submittal packages, and leading factory witness testing.
* Additionally, you will conduct system-level and integrated system testing, as well as continuous auditing to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support vendors and contractors in the construction and commissioning of various systems, including HVAC, chilled water, and electrical power systems.
* Develop and execute test procedures for mechanical and electrical systems/components based on design intent and approved equipment submittals.
* Review component submittal packages and lead factory witness testing.
* Conduct system-level and integrated system testing, as well as continuous auditing to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
* 3+ years of commissioning experience.
* Certification or training specific to NETA, ASHRAE, or Commissioning specific education courses.
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook required; advanced knowledge of SharePoint (or similar) preferred.
* Advance knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems for critical infrastructures.
* Ability to read and edit construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.).
