Office Administrator – 021 Electrician (Cork)
Full-Time Position
We are a well-established, friendly electrical contracting company based in Cork, with a team of 11 professionals serving Cork city and the surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of the business.
About the Role:
This full-time role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a busy office environment.
You'll work closely with the business owners and electricians to coordinate jobs, handle administrative duties, and ensure the office runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering phone and email enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Scheduling and managing jobs using ServiceM8
Creating and sending invoices
Submitting weekly working hours to the accountant
Processing and paying supplier bills and contractor invoices
Assisting with VAT returns and other financial tasks
Onboarding new staff, including paperwork and system setup
General administrative support and office management duties
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth daily operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role (experience in a trade or construction business is a plus)
Proficient in job management software such as ServiceM8
Experience with accounting software like FreshBooks
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy
Professional and reliable communication skills
Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
