The Role
Month-End Finance: Supporting the delivery of timely and accurate month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Reporting: Preparing monthly management reports and financial statements to support strategic decision-making.
Audit Support: Serving as a primary point of contact for external and internal audit queries, ensuring all necessary documentation and explanations are provided efficiently.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Assisting with financial analysis and process improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Requirements
Qualification Status: Actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA).
Technical Skills: Proven experience in a month-end finance and reporting environment is essential.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the property sector or a similar asset-heavy industry is a distinct advantage.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders and auditors.
