We are recruiting a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Talbotsinch, Co. Kilkenny.

About the Role:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations, including allocation of work tasks to operatives, ensuring timely completion of work schedules, and prioritising urgent tasks. You will uphold housekeeping, health, and safety standards, reporting any violations to the Operations Manager. This role requires strong leadership, accountability, and a proactive approach to maintaining efficiency and compliance during each shift.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supervise and support Warehouse Operatives, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
2. Ensure stock availability by coordinating with the Client Stock Controller.
3. Uphold safety and compliance standards, reporting incidents and equipment issues.
4. Manage attendance, performance, and workflow to improve efficiency.
5. Collaborate closely with the Transport Team for seamless operations.
6. Foster a positive team environment, encouraging feedback and improvements.
Skills and Experiences:
The desired skills and experience include but are not limited to:
1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor/Manager or similar role.
2. Strong leadership and organisational skills.
3. Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
4. Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
5. Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
