Membership Growth Executive (Business Development) – Engineers Ireland
Engineers Ireland is the professional body for engineers in Ireland, with over 25,000 members. The Membership Growth Executive will engage with established engineering companies and build new relationships in growth sectors. The role requires strong communication, customer service and people skills, and the ability to work across business functions to grow membership and demonstrate the value of Engineers Ireland membership. Travel in Ireland to client companies and presenting to potential members and stakeholders is required.
Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with key member companies to increase engagement and membership.
* Presentation Skills: Create and deliver compelling presentations on membership benefits to potential members and stakeholders, in person and online, to acquire new members.
* New Company Development: Identify and develop new company relationships to deliver new members in growth sectors; manage pipeline from lead generation to qualification and sales execution; maintain and expand the database of prospects.
* Events Management: Plan, manage and run networking events for stakeholders; represent Engineers Ireland at industry events.
* Internal Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Marketing and Communications to develop campaigns; collaborate with internal teams to contribute to product and proposition development and drive sales growth.
Qualifications
* Proven presentation skills with the ability to discuss and advise on Engineers Ireland’s Membership offerings.
* Proven track record of achieving growth targets with professional business development and customer service skills in a dynamic environment.
* Natural relationship-builder who enjoys connecting with stakeholders at all levels in the engineering profession.
* Digital native with comfort using online systems/tools.
* Self-starter, independent, initiative-taking; thrives in fast-moving environments.
* Full clean driving license.
* Degree qualified in a relevant field is an advantage.
Pay range and compensation package
Pay range and compensation package is competitive with pension and discretionary bonus.

Location
Headquarters: 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. The successful candidate will travel to relevant meetings, events and conferences. Engineers Ireland operates a blended model between home and office working.
