We’re seeking an experience Financial Controller to join our amazing team at Ellab based just 10 minutes from Kells/ 45 minutes from Blanchardstown.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing company. As we continue to scale, we’re strengthening our finance backbone—so we’re hiring a Financial Controller to lead controllership and operational finance across Ireland with a partial UK remit. This role reports directly to the Finance Director, International.You’ll lead a team of seven and own a robust month-end and compliance environment. You’ll bring discipline to the numbers, clarity to reporting, and momentum to process improvements—so our teams can move faster with confidence.What you’ll doLead and grow the teamSet clear goals, coach for impact, and build cross-cover so the team runs smoothly year-round.Embed accountability while keeping the culture collaborative, supportive, and fun.Own close, reporting, and complianceDeliver a timely, accurate month-end close for Ireland and part of the UK.Manage revenue recognition, WIP, intercompany, accruals, and prepayments.Present clear monthly reporting to business leaders and corporate stakeholders.Own balance sheet integrity and reconciliation controls.Lead statutory audits and prepare financial statements.File tax and regulatory reporting on time, every time.Run operational finance and drive strong, automated AP and AR processes with effective controlsManage banking, payments, and factoring.Improve how we workChampion change management and continuous improvement.Document key processes and implement SOPs.Support finance system upgrades, digitisation, and Power BI rollout; get the most from our ERP (Business Central experience is a plus).Partner with the businessBuild trusted relationships with local teams and corporate HQ.Support the International Finance Director on projects and ad hoc requests.What you’ll bringFully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.Track record in process improvement and change managementProven people leadership and team development.Advanced Excel; ERP experience (Business Central advantageous) and familiarity with BI tools.Industry and/or multinational experience is an advantage.Strong communicator; agile, growth-minded, and comfortable driving change.Free ParkingHybrid – Minimum of 3 days in the officeCompany PensionBike to work schemeEmployee assistance programWellness programSounds like you?
