The RoleWe are seeking an experiencedIndustrial Electricianto support the installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of electrical systems across our operational sites.You will work on production-critical machinery and infrastructure, supporting continuous operations while ensuring the highest safety and compliance standards are maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and align electrical systems, machinery, and equipmentCarry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical repairsDiagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtimeWork on industrial production equipment, including motors, VSDs, PLC-controlled systems, contactors, and instrumentationSupport mechanical breakdowns where required and work collaboratively with mechanical teamsEnsure all work complies with electrical safety standards, site procedures, and legislationMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspectionsHandle materials, components, and tools safely and efficientlyWork closely with Engineers, Supervisors, and Site Management to improve reliability and performanceParticipate in a weekend on-call rota as requiredWhat We're Looking ForFETAC Level 6 qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Electrical TradeMinimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship experienceNational Trade Certificate / Trade CardProven experience working on industrial sites or production environmentsStrong technical knowledge of:Motors, contactors, VSDsPLC-controlled systemsIndustrial wiring, containment, instrumentation, starters, and temporary installationsAn interest in mechanical systems and the ability to support mechanical breakdownsMEWP experience is advantageous (training can be provided)Full driving licence and own transport advantageousFluent EnglishFlexible and willing to participate in a weekend shift rotaKey Skills & BehavioursStrong problem-solving and fault-finding capabilityCalm and focused under pressure in live production environmentsAble to work independently and as part of a wider engineering teamWell-organised with good communication and reporting skillsStrong safety mindset and attention to detailWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (DOE)20 days annual leaveFull training and ongoing development supportPPE and all required safety equipment providedClear career progression opportunities within Panda's engineering and operations teamsLong-term stability within a growing, future-focused organisation
