Senior Theatre Nurse Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Theatre Nurse Manager to lead and deliver exceptional patient care within our surgical environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, and review of care for patients according to our standards, working closely with senior colleagues.
* Provide clinical and professional leadership to the nursing team in theatre, promoting excellence and best practice in all aspects of patient care.
* Oversee the operational and clinical activities within theatre, ensuring smooth workflows and maintaining compliance with safety protocols, policies, and best practices in surgical care.
* Mentor and support nursing staff through in-service training and professional development, promoting their growth and contribution to the team.
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and experience, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Requirements:
* You must be a registered nurse/midwife on the active Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland register, with at least three years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably in the specialty or related area.
* Postgraduate course or management qualification is desirable, as is experience with electronic health records and preceptorship.
