Key Responsibilities:
* Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including HIQA guidelines. Follow up on results and implement necessary improvements.
* Staff Development: Induct new staff members and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Innovation and Quality: Foster a culture of innovation throughout the nursing home, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
* Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with Company procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high standard of care and service delivery.
* Clinical Leadership: Provide effective clinical leadership, fostering strong relationships with external community agencies and promoting the nursing home's presence in the local community through marketing initiatives.
* Operational Efficiency: Implement and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the nursing home, reviewing and updating fire evacuation plans as needed.
* Talent Management: Manage staff selection and interviewing processes, conducting training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement.
* Clinical Excellence: Ensure that clinical practices in the nursing home meet regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
