As we continue our global growth, we're seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Professional Affairs Consultant to represent Ocumetra across UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe. In this role, you'll serve as one of the clinical and professional voices of Ocumetra, building trusted relationships with eye care practitioners, industry partners, and key opinion leaders. You'll help drive awareness and understanding of our technology, support clinical education and adoption, and provide insights that shape how our solutions are used in practice. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of clinical expertise, education, and innovation, helping to advance the standard of care for children with myopia across the region.
Role Purpose
Provide clinical education, training, and professional support for UK, Irish and European customers while extending support to global markets as needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and evaluate clinical education and product training for customers (F2F, virtual, and at events).
* Execute clinical onboarding programs for new customer sites.
* Support clinical inquiries; triage and resolve escalations in partnership with Product, QA/RA, and Customer Success.
* Develop and maintain training content (slide decks, SOPs, quick guides, video scripts) in collaboration with PA team Marketing.
* Capture field insights (feedback, objections, outcomes) to support product, evidence generation, and customer acquisition marketing materials.
* Support broader markets with scalable training assets and occasional delivery.
* Track education KPIs (sessions delivered, attendance, NPS, time-to-proficiency); report monthly.
Qualifications Experience
* Clinical background (e.g., Optometrist, clinical educator) or equivalent experience in medtech/health-tech professional education.
* 2+ years in clinical training/education or professional affairs; training experience preferred.
* Strong facilitation skills.
* Excellent written/verbal communication;
* Excellent presentation skills. Confident delivering to clinical and commercial audiences.
* High energy self starter.
* Must be proficient in verbal and written English.
