Job Overview
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing water and wastewater treatment projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations primarily focused on Mechanical/Electrical/ICA requirements with minor civil works included.
* C coordinate safety and liaise with our internal Health, Safety, Quality and Environment Department and enforce safe work practices onsite during all site installations.
* Support the design team in delivering innovative solutions and using modern technologies.
* Procure all items required for project delivery.
* Create project programs and ensure that all required project interfaces are allowed for, from design to final site commissioning & handover.
* Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, provide regular project updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Manage all site labour including subcontractors.
* Document engineering reports, method statements, and commissioning schedules.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in PC skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
* Strong engineering analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* A willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry.
* Proven experience in an engineering role in a Mechanical & Electrical environment.
