A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to join their growing team on projects in the midlands region. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of utilities, water, drainage, and public infrastructure works, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and programme delivery. This is a great opportunity for an experienced foreman or supervisor looking to step into a long-term role with a respected Irish contractor focused on local and regional civil works. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all site operations, trades, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site. Monitor daily progress and report issues to the Project Engineer and Project Manager. Maintain clear and accurate site records, including diaries, checklists, and permits. Interpret technical drawings and ensure works are completed as per design. Manage site materials, deliveries, and logistics. Conduct site briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks with teams. Liaise with clients, local authorities, and the wider project team as required. Requirements: 4+ years experience in a supervisory or foreman role within civil engineering. Strong background in utilities, water/wastewater, or roadworks/infrastructure projects. Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations and site practices. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements. Strong organisational and communication skills. Confident in leading teams and managing site resources effectively.
