Junior IT Technician
We are currently recruiting for a Junior IT Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to take your skills to the next level and contribute to the growth of our organization.
This role will involve assisting with hardware and software upgrades, including network and telephony system upgrades. You will be responsible for maintaining and creating IT documentation, ensuring that all systems and processes are well-documented.
You will also assist in IT infrastructure upgrades, working closely with the IT Manager and Operations Manager. Additionally, you will support IT developers with their project needs and deployments, providing timely and effective assistance.
Responsibilities include:
* Assist with hardware and software upgrades, including network and telephony system upgrades.
* Maintain and create IT documentation, ensuring that all systems and processes are well-documented.
* Assist in IT infrastructure upgrades, working closely with the IT Manager and Operations Manager.
* Support IT developers with their project needs and deployments, providing timely and effective assistance.
* Provide end-user support for all desktop, hardware and software issues, resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
* Participate in the deployment of new technologies and systems for the organization, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
* Take ownership of complex issues that cannot be resolved on a first-line basis, working through to completion when required.
* Prepare clear, concise reports on the status of all issues, providing regular updates to the IT Manager.
* Update information daily in the internal software, including product structures and prices.
* Create Excel reports, pivots and dashboards to improve information flow within departments.
* Track internal projects and report back to the Operations Manager on any major deviations from delivery objectives.
* Engage in other ad-hoc matters within the organization as required.
