RIBA Restaurant is an Italian Neighbourhood Restaurant in Stillorgan. We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. RIBA serves Lunch and Dinner. There is an a la carte kitchen, and a pizza kitchen - the Sous Chef operates the a la carte kitchen and no experience of pizza is required.
The salary offered is for contracted hours and overtime is paid for additional time worked. This is a management role and you would be working alongside the head chef and the general manager. Suitable candidates will thrive off the buzz of a busy service, be interested in Italian cooking with local and seasonal produce, be organised and a good team leader.
This role would suit:
* a Sous Chef currently in a bistro environment looking for a change and to progress their careers
* a Chef de Partie ready for a promotion
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the smooth running of busy service
* Menu design and pricing to meet margins;
* Stock control, ordering and cost control;
* Managing the Haccp Food Safety System;
* Rostering and wage margin control;
* Creating a positive working environment and motivating the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €38,000.00-€43,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Stillorgan, County Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
