We are seeking an experienced Staff R&D Engineer to lead technical projects and teams in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions that meet business requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
* Represent the Organization: Serve as the primary technical contact for pharma partners on B2B product development projects.
* Develop Advanced Solutions: Design and develop advanced drug delivery systems through all phases of the project lifecycle.
* Translate Business Requirements: Convert business needs into robust technical designs.
* Apply Engineering Principles: Use engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges.
* Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate technical issues.
* Improve Product Development: Enhance product development cycles using DFSS and Lean Product Development Tools.
* Develop Technical Designs: Create technical designs and methodologies to achieve product goals.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with QA, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams.
* Mentorship and Communication: Mentor junior associates and demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor of Science Engineering or technical degree (postgraduate preferred).
* Experience: 5+ years' experience in medical device development, emphasizing wearable infusion pumps or large volume injection devices.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Industry Expertise: Deep experience in parenteral drug delivery devices in the Biotech industry.
* Complex System Design: Proven track record in executing complex system designs.
* Project Leadership: Ability to lead multi-discipline engineering project teams.
* Design Tools: Proficiency with modern CAD, CAE, and other design/simulation tools.
