Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting a community based Social Care worker to support residents with intellectual disabilities for a client based in Carlow area.
Responsibilities
* Review and demonstrate a person centered plan.
* Reviews care plan for service users.
* Promote independence of each resident.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the service users.
* Comply with HIQA Standards, HSE policies/Safeguarding policies & procedures.
* Promote independence and confidence throughout the facilities.
Education & Training:
Degree level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care or equivalent
Requirements:
* All applicants must be CORU registered or registration in progress.
* Must have a valid VISA to work in Ireland
* Must have 1 year of experience
* Must be flexible with work hours
* Strong communication skills
* Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation such as The National Standards for Adults with Disabilities.
* Must have a full valid driving licence
