About This Role
An Engineering Technical Trainer is required to design and deliver technical training programs for maintenance technicians.
This 24-month contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop competency frameworks and progression pathways aligned with site reliability goals.
2. Mentor and coach technicians to build expertise in root cause analysis, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
3. Lead reliability improvement initiatives using tools such as FMEA, RCA, and TPM.
4. Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions that enhance equipment uptime and performance.
6. Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate losses impacting overall equipment effectiveness.
7. Support the deployment of digital tools and analytics to monitor and improve equipment effectiveness.
8. Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing downtime, increasing throughput, and improving quality.
9. Introduce innovative training methods including simulations, e-learning, and hands-on workshops.
10. Stay well informed of industry best practices and emerging technologies in reliability and maintenance.
11. Foster strong, respectful relationships with the technician community to build trust and open communication.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
* 3-5 years of experience in engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs.
