Our client, a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice based in Athlone, is seeking a motivated Semi-Senior Auditor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant with at least 1–2 years’ Irish practice experience who is keen to advance their audit career in a supportive and progressive environment. As a Semi-Senior Auditor, you will gain exposure to a diverse client base across multiple industries, working on varied audit assignments and developing your professional expertise.
Responsibilities
Supporting the planning, execution, and completion of audits for SME and corporate clients.
Preparing audit documentation and working papers in line with professional standards.
Collaborating with senior team members and learning from their guidance.
Building positive client relationships, handling queries, and providing practical support.
Requirements
Part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or equivalent).
1–2 years’ audit experience within a practice environment.
Good technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Experience with CaseWare (or similar audit software) is an advantage.
