JARU is looking for a kitchen assistant to join our Space Jaru team in Meath Street, Dublin 8.
Jaru is a Korean food company with street food/restaurant business and a retail/wholesale production business. JARU aims to provide the finest Korean foods using Irish ingredients.
Kitchen Assistant
* Cleaning the kitchen to ensure it is ready for the next day
* Maintaining/cleaning the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
* Receiving deliveries and organizing them in the kitchen
* Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher
* Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly
* Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
Requirements
* Full-time (approx. 40hrs)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in professional kitchens
* Knowledge/interest in learning about Korean cuisine
* Eligible to work in Ireland
* Team player. Good communication skill
